In 2021, we welcomed Apples and Rosie, two Miniature Hereford heifers from Spring Mountain Farms, and they've been enjoying our pastures ever since. People are surprised how big they are despite having the miniature namesake relative to the classic Hereford breed. They have gentle dispositions, hardy constitutions, and striking red and white markings.

Miniature Herefords typically stand 36-48 inches tall at the hip, making them ideal for small farms and homesteads. Despite their smaller stature, they're incredibly efficient grazers and maintain the excellent beef quality that Herefords are renowned for. Their docile temperament and calm nature make them a pleasure to work with, whether you're an experienced cattle farmer or just starting your journey with livestock.

Apples and Rosie have become beloved members of our farm family, and watching them graze our pastures has been a joy. Their adaptability, easy-keeping nature, and wonderful personalities have made them perfect additions to our operation.
